Blok Printing has put in place an environmental program throughout our facilities. We strive to find ways of protecting our environment and reducing our eco-footprint on this planet. We recycle all paper waste and plates. We have installed an environmentally friendly plating system from Heidelberg, making us the first in British Columbia to do so. We work with customers in providing recycled paper and will work with anyone desiring to be “greener”.
We considered the day to day impacts on our environment and the important role trees play in the health of our planet. We decided to try and minimize our footprint by introducing paper tree, which works in harmony with our environmental policy. paper tree is a program that donates white pine seedlings to schools, to our customers, community events and BC forestry projects. We will calculate our paper usage and convert that to trees to be donated throughout the tree growing seasons in BC. As well, Blok Printing Ltd. implemented an environmental program in order to lessen our impact on the environment. paper tree promotes the collective idea of recycling, reducing, re-using and replanting.
Blok Printing Ltd. believes in tomorrow's generation and the impact we can have on them now. The phrase "Grow it Forward" was coined to ensure that the benefits of having trees, will still be here tomorrow.
